EHFCN Activities
EHFCN activities aim to increase public awareness about the risks of healthcare fraud and corruption, influence policy , promote the share of good practice, joint work and development of common working standards, provide high-quality information, tools, training and assisance in fighting fraud and corruption and encourage European healthcare systems improvement by reducing losses to fraud and corruption.

EHFCN Awareness campaign on Anti-Corruption Day
The EHFCN Awareness campaign is celebrated every year in March to tie in with the International Fraud Prevention Month. It draws attention to various issues related to the prevention and fight against fraud and corruption in the healthcare sector. It is led by the EHFCN Office and its members associations in Europe. The theme for this years Awareness Campaign is ''Who pays for healthcare fraud? We all do!'' More information about the campaign can be found here.
EHFCN Annual Conference
The EHFCN Annual Conference is usually attended by a range of European representatives from Ministries of Health, sickness funds, healthcare services and political leaders. It is the ideal opportunity to learn, meet other members and make new acquaintances. This year's conference was taking place in Brussels, Belgium on 28th and 29th September 2010.

Seminars and Trainings
Regular seminars and training sessions are organised twice a year in order to facilitate the transfer of knowledge, share of good practices and new ideas to solve problems. A training syllabus is made available after the session.
The 2010 workshop was on Business & Analytics.
Excellence Award
The award is granted to an organisation or individual who has proven excellence in the field of countering fraud and/or corruption in the healthcare sector by means of a particular action or initiative. It aims to stimulate best practices in counter fraud and counter corruption activities in healthcare. Recognising a particular action or initiative and giving it the credit deserved will also help EHFCN promote its aim, which is to improve European healthcare systems by reducing losses to fraud and corruption.
Publications
Information leaflets, brochures, publications are important tools to get the message across.
EHFCN is currently preparing its Annual Report, the purpose of which is to provide up-to-date information on healthcare fraud and corruption losses, on counter-fraud and counter-corruption activities and their resulting effects in Europe.
