The European Healthcare Fraud and Corruption Network (EHFCN) is the only non-profit organisation dedicated to combating fraud and corruption in the healthcare sector across Europe. It provides its current 20 member organisations with information, tools and a platform to exchange best practices and ideas, promotes the development of common working standards and collaborates with national, European and international bodies who have an influence on healthcare in Europe.
EHFCN is currently looking for a Communications Intern (Unpaid internship)
Job overview: You will be expected to update the website and add new content as appropriate; to monitor daily news; to draft, coordinate and distribute our newsletters and other publications in order to keep the Network connected with its members. The position also includes assisting in the organisation of the awareness campaign, assisting in media outreach and monitoring coverage and liaising with other organisations.
Required profile
- Applicants must be undergraduate students who require an internship for their course and who have a ‘convention of stage'
- Excellent verbal and written English
- Good command of other languages is an asset
- Ability and experience in working with a ‘what you see is what you get' website
- Computer literacy in standard office applications, Photoshop and HTML are a plus
- An interest in European politics and healthcare fraud and corruption
- Research and analytical skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proactive, flexible and a good communicator
- Excellent organizational skills.
