Cancelled - General Assembly April 2010

Due to the closure of the airspace as a result of the volcanic ash cloud from Iceland and after careful consideration by the EHFCN Executive Committee, we are very sorry to announce that the meetings to be held in Lisboa this week starting on Wednesday 21 April will be postponed to a later date. We do not know if the airspace will be cleared by Wednesday and even so, there is a risk of getting stuck in Lisboa which we cannot allow participants to run.

We feel very sorry particularly towards our Portuguese friends  who had arranged for a very interesting Open House meeting, however we are confident that the meeting will be rearranged and we will inform you about it in due course. 

As for the other meetings which were due to take place this week, we can already tell you the following:

• -   The SOC meeting and the Cross-Border Fraud Working Group will be postponed to Wednesday 9 June 2010 in Paris (WG in
       the morning, SOC in the afternoon).
  -   The French Open House will take place on Thursday 10 June afternoon and Friday 11 June in the morning.
