Accommodation
The EHFCN Office has pre-booked single rooms at the FIGI HOTEL (Het Rond 2 ,3701 HS, Zeist) at a preferential room rate of 145 €, breakfast and wifi included.
The four-star hotel Figi in Zeist has a solid tradition for over 150 years and is a landmark in hospitality. An excellent, centrally located base which is just a few minutes' walk to Zorgverzekeraars Nederland (see map). In addition Figi is surrounded by parks, close to the nature of the Utrecht Ridge and Crooked Rhine, ideal for cycling and walking enthusiasts after a day's meeting.
As to Zeist, the town has a nice center and beautiful historic buildings. A five minute walk from Figi Zeist Castle will take you through five centuries of history. If you have some time an additional tour along the historic buildings and the 17th-century Slot Zeist is definitely worth it. Closely related to the Zeist society, Figi plays an important cultural function and the corridor of Hotel Theater Figi has a permanent display about its history which will bring you back in time. Slotlaan is the most famous shopping street of Zeist, and lies at the beginning of Slot Zeist. All within walking distance from Figi.

Should you wish to book your accommodation in another hotel than the Figi Hotel, here are a few others which we can recommend (and more alternatives available at www.hotels.com). Please note however that EHFCN staff will not make any bookings at these hotels and that taxi rides have to be foreseen.

ARRIVING BY TRAIN:
Tickets
Train tickets for domestic travel are available from the yellow ticket machines near the platforms at Schiphol Plaza. Tickets (for domestic and international travel) are also available from the ticket offices, which are situated close to the red/white-checked cube at Schiphol Plaza. Staff at the ticket offices will also be able to provide you with train departure information.
Information about your train journey
The journey planner on the NS website will provide you with information on the fastest and shortest route between your home address and Schiphol. It also contains the latest travel information, including details of temporary timetable changes.
At the railway station Driebergen-Zeist (about 3 km from Figi) are both taxis and buses that Figi (lines 50, 71) stop.
