Conference calls for improved cooperation in fighting fraud and corruption in healthcare and social security
Representatives from the healthcare and social security sectors are meeting in Krakow on 6-7 October to share experience and best practice related to the fight against fraud and corruption in these sectors. The conference, which expects 140 participants from both sectors and from 15 European countries, is organised by the European Healthcare Fraud and Corruption Network (EHFCN).

The European Healthcare Fraud and Corruption
Network (EHFCN) announced that their two 2011 Excellence Awards will be
conferred to the Serbian organisation Doctors
Against Corruption, and to Dr Pierre Fender, Director of dispute settlement and the fight against
fraud at the French National Health Insurance Fund (CNAMTS). The awards will be
given at EHFCN's Annual Conference in Cracow, Poland on 6th October
2011.
