Workshop Analytics
Brussels, Belgium, 3rd March 2011
EHFCN and the business analytics company SAS are organizing the first workshop of its kind on analytics on the 3th of March in Brussels. The topics that will be discussed during the workshop are addressed to the professionals involved in healthcare fraud detection and prevention. The main purpose of the workshop is to better understand the use of analytics, and, for those who already use them, to see what areas they still can improve.
The workshop will take place at INAMI / RIZIV, Av de Tervueren 211 in 1150 Brussels, Belgium. The event is free for EHFCN members and open to non-members for a small fee (€175).

Open House
Oslo, Norway, 11-12 May 2011
The Second EHFCN Open House (for EHFCN members only) will be held in Oslo, hosted by our member HELFO on 11-12 May.
During two days, our Norwegian members will present their strategies, methods of work and results achieved and facilitate the share of good practices to tackle fraud and corruption in healthcare. There will be sessions about tracking, investigating and law enforcement.

Annual Conference EHFCN
Krakow, Poland, 6 – 7 October 2011
EHFCN will hold its 8th Annual Conference in Krakow, Poland on 6th and 7th October 2011. Focusing for the first time on the fight against fraud and corruption in health care and social security, the conference will offer a thought-provoking programme with speakers with in-depth expertise in the sectors, interactive workshops and great networking opportunities.
During one and a half days, 150 professionals involved in the fight against healthcare and social security fraud and corruption throughout Europe will meet in Krakow. They will use the conference in order to exchange state-of–the-art information, best practices and innovative strategies and ideas. They include decision-makers from ministries of health and social security, representatives from public and private health and social insurances as well as professionals involved in the daily detection, investigations and sanctioning of fraud in these sectors.
We have already been looking at hotels in Krakow, and the final decision on the exact hotel will be made soon. We have a wonderful impression of Krakow and next to the conference you will also have the opportunity to explore the city yourself!
