4th ICAC Symposium
15 - 17 December 2009
In co-operation with the European Anti-Fraud Office (OLAF), the 4th Symposium is held this year as the Independent Commission Against Corruption (ICAC) of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region commemorates the 35th anniversary of its establishment. The title of the Symposium is "Deals Under the Table - the Doing or Undoing of Business?"
It aims to help us focus our minds on the impact of corruption in business on the global community. The present financial crisis has brought home the extent to which the world is now a universal economy, and how much the way we do business in one part of the world can affect the lives of people in other countries or territories.

CHCAA 10th Annual Conference
1-2 October 2009
This year, the conference theme is 'Eliminate Fraud - Take a Leading Role'. The elimination of a profound problem, healthcare fraud, is the ultimate objective and, not unlike great theatre, there must be those who are willing and able to step into a leading role.
Like theatre, it will take many different roles in order to reach the objective and these roles will be diverse. There will be roles for the informed consumer, the trained adjudicator, the effective investigator, over-worked and under-budgeted law enforcement, the daring politician and many more. Each will have to know his role well and carry it out with Tony -Award-winning finesse in order that the goal is met.
The conference offers two days of practical, take-home experience with some of the world's leading experts in health care fraud.
Meet and learn with industry leaders from dozens of insurance companies, health care, law enforcement and professional organizations across Canada, the U.S, and the globe at the biggest and best health care fraud conference in Canada!
