EHFCN organizes webinars for EHFCN members with IACA (the International Anti-corruption Academy) on a structural basis. Martin Kreutner, Dean and Executive Secretary of IACA, is also a former Ordinary Member of the EHFCN Executive Committee.
The International Anti-Corruption Academy (IACA) is an international organization based in Laxenburg, Austria. It is the first global institution of its kind, dedicated to overcoming current shortcomings in knowledge and practice in the field of anti-corruption and seeking to empower professionals for the challenges of tomorrow (https://www.iaca.int/).
A pilot webinar was organised on 9 and 21 November 2016 on the subject The (International) Anti-Corruption Agenda – a Propaedeutic Course on History, Data, and Facts, lectured by Mr. Martin KREUTNER, IACA’s Dean and Executive Secretary. The webinar consisted of a pre-recorded version (available from 9/11 on) followed by a live interactive discussion on 21 November.
Webinars will be organized on a quarterly basis, with possible topics (International Legal Instruments against Corruption, Corruption and Human Rights, Public Procurement, Organizational Integrity, Investigation Techniques, Fraud Prevention and Fraud Detection, Economic Consequences and Effects of Corruption).
