9th EHFCN Open House on 18 & 19 October 2018 in Athens (Greece)

On 18 October and 19 October, EHFCN organized the 9^th Open House event in Athens (Greece).

At an Open House event, an EHFCN Member opens its doors for other members and invitees. The Open House provides the possibility of learning from each other about counter fraud practices and exchange expertise.

This Open House was hosted by EOPYY, the Greek National Organization for Healthcare Services Provision and Mr. Sotiris Bersimis, President of EHFCN. EOPYY aims to ensure equal access of all its insured persons, to a single system for the provision of health services, prevention, maintenance, promotion, improvement, rehabilitation and protection of health.

Apart from keynotes, EHFCN proposed workshops to identify in interactive sessions practical solutions to tackle fraud, waste and corruption in healthcare.

A new feature: on Saturday 20 October 2018 a Training session on Statistical tools and machine learning techniques for fighting fraud and corruption in healthcare was scheduled.
